The History of Rome

Looking back into history, many will surely be surprised to know even the history that happened in Rome. The Roman Empire was regarded to be the most powerful empire in history. There were many Roman Emperors who already experienced to rule over the Roman Empire. And one of the most popular emperor who ruled over the kingdom is the Roman Emperor Constantine. The Bible had recorded many events that happened between the Jews and the Romans. One of those unforgettable events was the crucifixion of Jesus.

It was the Pharisees and the teachers of the Law who actually led in the crucifixion of Jesus. They went to Pontius Pilate and asked him to punish Jesus by crucifying him. Though the governor didn’t find any fault in Jesus and wanted to release him, it was those who claim to believe in God who want to crucify their own Savior. And when Jesus was being punished though He was innocent, it was the Roman soldiers who also took part in committing such a sin of crucifying God.

The Roman Empire was very powerful especially during the middle ages. At that time, many of the Jews were killed. It was the pope who actually ruled over the empire because he have a higher position in those days. Anyway, the Roman Empire finally fell. The history of Rome continually caught the interest of many historians. Though this kingdom was once very powerful after it conquered the Greek Empire, many might be curious about why and how it fell.
